About Event

DelAgua uses carbon finance to fund the free provision of a top-quality stove with integrated education and life-long support, delivering long-term behaviour change and multiple, measurable impacts for people and the environment. This sets the benchmark for high-impact, high-integrity VCM-funded clean cooking. DelAgua is a large-scale carbon project developer, and through this workshop, Euan McDougall, the COO at DelAgua Group, will share first-hand experience in agreeing Letters of Authorization with the Government of Rwanda and achieving Corresponding Adjustment labels for our Rwanda projects on VERRA.

Our Live Well programme is now running in 3 African countries; Rwanda, The Gambia & Sierra Leone. It is differentiated by 3 main pillars:

Integrity - Technology-enabled tracking and monitoring of all stoves distributed, coupled with household visits every 6 months throughout the stove's 10-year lifespan.

Impact - +1.7 million stoves distributed to date, providing more than 7,000 jobs in rural communities and measurable impact across 8 SDGs.

Expertise - We have 10+ years' experience delivering a data-driven and evidence-based programme.

You must be registered for the East Africa Carbon Markets Forum to attend the workshop.
